Women's ("Kiana") Carrot Designer Driving Loafers by Bernard DE WULF® (Unlined)

DE WULF® Designer Driving Loafers for Women are comfortable, light, water-resistant, elegant, practical and affordable, with features that include:

 Water-resistant genuine upper nubuck leather.

Latex outer sole made from cultivated rubber trees in Brazil.

 Sizes: 5, half sizes 6-11

 Width: Medium

 Colors: Carrot, Navy, Black, Wood

Handcrafted in Brazil in a family-owned factory.

Please note that our loafers need to feel snug at first since the leather will stretch after a couple of days of wear. If they are too comfortable at the time of purchase, they will feel too big later. Also note that if one intends to wear them with socks, one needs to order a half size up.

The loafers should NOT hurt at the anchor points (see red circle below) as they will not give. However, the leather below the stitching all around the loafer will stretch to mold around your feet for a wonderful fit. Please note the leather in the very front, below the stitching, will stretch as well.

Driving loafers are made to drive, go to a dinner or a party, a short walk to a nearby cafe or shop, or in casual outings. Driving loafers are not designed to wear day after day or for walking in them all day long. They are great business casual shoes; they are usually more comfortable than dress shoes and more elegant than sneakers. You can wear the driving loafer with casual looks like dresses, skirts, denim, chinos, and shorts all year round.

DRIVING LOAFERS

The iconic Driving Loafer that we know today of which the manufacturing in the US began in the early 1930s was first created by Norwegian fishermen as boat shoes. European intellectuals started wearing them and were copied by shoemakers from America and England. Soon after, everyone was wearing them on college campuses in the US, from James Dean to J.F.K.

The leather of the loafer is light, comfortable, elegant, practical, easy on/off, perfect for spring, summer, and fall. It can be worn with or without socks and with casual to semi-formal outfits.
